 Parent Consultation & Advocacy

Parent consultation can help families understand and better support their child's unique learning profile and/or social-emotional or behavioral functioning at both home and school. Consultation can also be offered in regard to how to seek services from the school district and/or community agencies. Consultation may include reviewing and explaining previous psychoeducational evaluation results and/or helping you prepare for an upcoming IEP to determine what questions to ask at your child's upcoming meeting.

Advocacy service can include attending meetings at your child's school as an informed professional who can collaborate with families, school teams, and/or other agencies to help clarify the child's learning style and ensure their educational needs are met.
